Buckley has 30 years of experience in affordable housing and community development in the non-profit and public sectors.
At Mercy Housing, a national nonprofit housing organization, she acquired and rehabilitated federally subsidized rental housing on a national level.
As Director of the Rocky Mountain office of a national non-profit organization, “NeighborWorks”, she managed funding and technical assistance for a network of local non-profit community development organizations.
She worked for 15 years for the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority as Director of Rental Housing and in other capacities, raising capital, developing programs and overseeing multifamily financing and the LIHTC program. Early in her career, Grace managed neighborhood development programs for the City of Denver.
Grace has a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Colorado at Denver. She has served on a number of nonprofit and public sector boards in her field, including the Colorado Community Land Trust, the Mercy Loan Fund and the Denver Housing Authority. She is currently retired.
