Block 3 was the third phase in the overall development activities at the HOPE
VI site. This phase consists of 1 bedroom,
2 bedroom, 3 bedroom stacked
flats, townhomes and apartments, commercial space on the ground level and a
Bike Share station (www.denverbikesharing.org )
This portion of the project
features 93 mixed income units spread over four buildings.
Outstanding Green Building
Block 3B was honored with the “2009 Gold Hard Hat Award for Outstanding Green
by Colorado Construction as Best Project of 2009.
National LEED® Award
In addition, the U.S. Green Building Council, in collaboration with
Congress for the New Urbanism and the Natural Resources
Council, recognized the outstanding accomplishments of DHA’s project
by awarding the “LEED® for Neighborhood Development Certification”
The recognition was awarded for excellence in the built
earning the site a place among the finest developments
principles of smart growth, urbanism and green design.
