The Housing Authority of the City and County of Denver (DHA) is looking for a skilled administrative professional for its Real Estate Investments department.
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Real Estate Investment Officer, provides administrative support to the Chief Real Estate Investment Officer and the Real Estate Department. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to word processing, file and record maintenance answering and directing email and telephone correspondence, and scheduling. Monitors progress of procurement activities. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. The position is located at 1035 Osage Street, Denver, Colorado 80204.
∗ Sick leave is accrued at 6 hours per month.
∗ Vacation leave for new employees is accrued at 8 hours per month.
∗ 12 paid holidays per year with an optional paid day off.
∗ Health insurance and 125 Plan.
∗ Group life insurance, pension plan (equal to 10% of the annual salary), short term and long term disability insurance are paid by DHA.
∗ Dental plan, vision insurance, critical illness insurance, accident insurance, 457 pension plan and the ROTH IRA are employee paid options.
∗ Performance based merit increases and cost of living adjustments are given depending upon current policy.
Minimum Experience Requirement
∗ High school diploma or GED.
∗ One (1) year of college level course work in related field.
∗ Three (3) years of experience working in a professional business office environment.
∗ Must type 35 wpm and highly proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and in a variety of other software or quick to learn.
∗ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced high stress environment.
∗ Skill in the application of existing guidelines to a variety of work situations.
∗ Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of position.
∗ A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement.
∗ A valid Colorado driver license is required. Eligibility to drive must be maintained in accordance with DHA policy.
$4,491.43 – $5,614.26/month ($25.91 – $32.39/hr.)
