Commercial Portfolio Manager

The Housing Authority of the City and County of Denver (DHA) seeks an experienced and highly motivated professional to manage the building operations for our commercial portfolio.

The Position
Under the supervision of the Director of Housing Management Division (“HMD”), performs professional level responsibilities for the day-to-day administration, management and operations of 1035 Osage Street (“Central Office”) and the Housing Authority of the City and County of Denver (“DHA”) owned properties under the commercial portfolio, including, but not limited to, marketing, commercial leasing and enforcement, commercial lease renewals and other financials including tenant relations and repairs. Independently responds to commercial tenant issues. Coordinates efforts with Real Estate and Procurement Departments for the commercial properties. Supervises support staff in the General Services Department to ensure efficient operation of the commercial portfolio and the Central Office.

• Sick leave is accrued at 6 hours per month.

Minimum Qualifications at the Time of Application
• Bachelor degree in business, public administration or management.
• Valid Colorado driver license and good driving record must be maintained in accordance with personnel policy.
• Three (3) years of experience managing commercial properties.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to develop specifications/scope of work for maintenance type contracts.
• Ability to plan, organize and control a complex operation.
• Working knowledge of computerized property control systems.
• Ability to set multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements.

Starting Salary
$74,495.87 – $93,119.86/yearly
