Denver Housing Authority Hires Allison Trembly as Director of Communications and Public Affairs

Trembly brings more than 20 years of experience to the organization.

Denver Housing Authority (DHA) announced it has hired Allison Trembly as the Director of Communications and Public Affairs. She has over 20 years of experience in communications, public affairs and marketing.

“Allison has an extensive communications background that will support the Denver Housing Authority’s mission and vision,” said David Nisivoccia, Chief Executive Officer of DHA. “We are excited to have her join our team.”

Prior to joining DHA, Allison worked for Whole Foods Market, Denver Public Schools, the Arvada Economic Development Association, and the City of Arvada.

She was honored by the Arvada Chamber of Young Professionals and received the Young Professional Leadership Award for her work in the community. She was also awarded the Rookie of the Year by the Economic Development Council of Colorado (EDCC). As an active volunteer, Trembly has worked with many local and regional organizations. She served as the Metro Denver Representative on the EDCC Board of Directors, as well as the Bienvenidos Food Bank Board of Directors. Trembly participated in programs such as the Transit Alliance Academy and Project Shift and she currently serves on the Communication Council at Family Tree.

Trembly received her bachelor’s degree in American History with a certification in Secondary Education from Fort Lewis College. She went on to complete her master’s degree in communication management from Colorado State University.

Trembly is thrilled to join the DHA Team, explaining, “It is my priority to support the vision of DHA’s communities with communication and transparency. Along with storytelling residents’ empowerment, economic opportunity, and vibrant living environments to the greater community.”
