DENVER – Friday, August 18, 2023 – Denver Housing Authority (DHA) and Friends of DHA recently hosted aSenior Ball honoring older residents (50+) at the DoubleTree Hotel in Denver where over 200 guests enjoyed a themed Mardi Gras evening with dancing, a catered meal, complementary photo booth and DJ music provided by All Request Music.
“We are proud to provide and support programs that enhance the lives of DHA residents. The Senior Ball is a great way to give back to our communities and celebrate our Aging in Place services,” said Annie Hancock, Director of Resident and Community Connections of DHA.
The Senior Ball was funded largely by sponsors and individuals who donated a collective of $13,500. Sponsors included:
- Gold Level: Humana, Senior Benefit Services, Innovage, MEI Total Elevator Solutions, and the Resident Council Board of DHA
- Silver Level: Bridlewood Insurance/Aetna
- Bronze Level: Kaiser Permanente and the Denver Office on Aging
