Dieudonne (Dido) Kalala

Dido is the Director of Internal Audit & Compliance at The Housing Authority of the City and County of Denver.  He has over 18 years of experience focusing on the delivery of internal audit, SOX compliance, and risk assessments with both public and private companies.

Dido has diverse experience auditing Technology, Media, Telecommunication, Financial Services, Healthcare, Federal and Local Government Agencies.  Dido began his career with Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) in the Denver area and stayed in Denver for several years before going to work for Ernst & Young (EY) in the Baltimore Maryland Area. 

Dido is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Denver (UCD) where he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with focus on Information System. Dido also holds an MBA in Accounting & Finance and is a Certified Information system Auditor (CISA). With his extensive risk and controls background, Dido’s passions include assessing and managing risk, identifying, and evaluating controls, and effectively and efficiently managing the delivery of audit services. Dido is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). From 2011 through 2014, Dido served on the board of directors for the Denver Open Media (DOM) and currently, serves on the boards for the Congo Relief Mission (CRM).
