Federico C. Alvarez

Federico C. Alvarez is a retired attorney and judicial officer. Last, Federico served as a hearing officer for the City and County of Denver’s Career Service. Previously he served as arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, and as a mediator, in consumer, commercial and employment cases.  Federico had been a partner at Kelly Garnsey Hubbell & Lass LLC, litigating commercial, employment and family law cases; a corporate attorney with Qwest Communications International, Inc.; a Denver District Court judge; a Denver County Court judge; an Assistant Attorney General; and began his career as a Deputy State Public Defender. Federico has been involved with numerous legal and community organizations throughout his career, including a longstanding interest in affordable housing. Federico received his law degree from Harvard Law School in 1980.
