The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City and County of Denver (DHA) announced today that Joaquu00edn Cintru00f3n Vega has been selected to serve as DHAu2019s next Chief Executive Officer following a national search and multiple rounds
of interviews.

Cintru00f3n Vega has served as the President & February 2024 Chief Executive Officer at Lucas Metropolitan Housing in Toledo, Ohio, since 2020. Prior to this, he served as the Director of the Public Housing Division in Miami Dade County. With more than two decades of experience, Cintru00f3n Vega has established a distinguished career in the management of federal housing assistance programs and policy development.

Currently, Lisha is celebrating her five-year work anniversary with DHA. She enjoys assisting in the lease up process and meets a challenge with strength and grace. Her goals are to streamline efficiencies in the overall processing of RFTAu2019s as well as striving to go above and beyond in communicating with her participants. Away from DHA, Lisha enjoys yoga, cycling, and cooking. She believes, u201ceveryone deserves a roof over their head and a home heated with kindness.u201d Congratulations, Lisha Lopez!
