Joshua Crawley has served as in-house counsel for the Housing Authority of the City and County of Denver (DHA) since November 2004, and as Agency Counsel since 2008. He is responsible for the day to day operations of the Legal and Human Resources Departments and for advising DHA staff regarding Public and Multifamily Housing Program compliance, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program compliance, landlord-tenant issues, employment law matters, fair housing compliance, and providing legal advice to the DHA Board of Commissioners and staff on the numerous legal issues faced by a large, high performing housing authority on a daily basis.
Joshua received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy cum laude, with honors from Creighton University in 1998. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado in 2001. Joshua is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Colorado and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and is a member of the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations. Joshua also serves on the Board of Directors of the Housing and Development Law Institute.
