MARKETING AND EVENTS ADMINISTRATOR
The Housing Authority of the City and County of Denver (DHA) is seeking a highly motivated self-starter to manage the marketing and public relations materials for our Resident and Community Connections department.
Manage marketing and public relations materials for Resident and Community Connections (“RCC”) Department, Youth Employment Academy, and Friends of DHA. Assist in the facilitation of the non-profit boards, support and oversee RCC and non-profit events, develop marketing materials to engage partners and sponsors, support social media platforms for the non-profits, and manage annual giving campaigns.
Sick leave is accrued at 6 hours per month.
Annual leave (vacation) for new employees is accrued at 8 hours per month.
12 paid holidays per year with an optional paid day off.
Health insurance and 125 Plan.
Group life insurance, pension plan (equal to 10% of the annual salary), short term and long term disability insurance are paid by DHA.
Dental plan, vision insurance, critical illness insurance, accident insurance, 457 pension plan and the ROTH IRA are employee paid options.
Performance based merit increases and cost of living adjustments are given depending upon current policy.
Minimum Qualifications at the Time of Application
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Social Services, Education, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
Valid Colorado driver license and good driving record must be maintained in accordance with personnel policy. Must provide own vehicle for transportation.
Experience and aptitude in messaging and marketing, including social media.
Experience with low-income, culturally diverse populations preferred and/or community development
Relevant experience in the nonprofit sector:
o Developing and managing relationships with prospective or active donors.
o Conducting research related to corporate and/or foundation grant makers.
A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum educational requirements.
$53,897.13/annually to $67,371.10/annually
