Nichole Ford joined DHA in 2004. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Housing Authority of the City and County of Denver (DHA), she is in charge of all the Accounting, Information Technology, Risk Management, Procurement, and Budgeting functions of the Authority.
Her responsibilities include maintaining adequate internal controls over DHA’s net assets over $330 million and annual budget of $267 million. Under Ms. Ford’s leadership, DHA’s Finance Division continues to receive the ‘Excellence in Financial Reporting’ and the ‘Outstanding Budget Presentation’ awards from the Government Finance Officers Association.

Prior to joining DHA, Nichole worked on Public Sector audits with KPMG LLP. Ms. Ford holds a Bachelor degree in Chemistry from the University of La Verne, Masters’ degrees in Chemistry and Accounting from Colorado State University, and a Certified Public Accountant license in the State of Colorado. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of CPAs (COCPA).
