DENVER – Tuesday, March 5, 2024 The Denver Housing Authority (DHA) announced today that its 135 unit mixed-income apartment development located in Sun Valley, Thrive Apartments, received the Community Impact Award from NAIOP Colorado, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. This event celebrated the “Best of the Best” in Colorado’s real estate industry at the 37th annual achievement celebration last week.

“We are thrilled to see DHA has been recognized for its dedication to creating vibrant and inclusive communities in Denver.” Joshua Crawley, Interim Chief Executive Officer said. “Our team works tirelessly to provide quality affordable housing for all, and this award is a true testament to the impact we are making.”

Both GreenHaus and Thrive, DHA developments in Sun Valley that were completed in 2023 and are leasing now, were recognized as finalists in the community impact category and Thrive was honored with the top award. Thrive offers larger apartments, including three-bedroom townhomes and four- and five-bedroom units, which helps to satisfy a critical housing demand for families in Denver
