DENVER – Wednesday, December 13, 2023 – Denver Housing Authority (DHA) announced today that the organization has hired Tim Beggs as Director of Audit and Compliance. Beggs brings with him more than 20 years of experience.
“Tim has extensive experience that will support DHA’s mission and vision as we continue to grow,” Joshua Crawley, interim chief executive officer said. “We are excited to have him join our team.”
“It is my priority to support DHA by providing assurance and consulting throughout the organization to strengthen controls and improve risk management processes,” Beggs explained. “I am excited to join the DHA team and make a positive impact in the Denver community.”
Prior to joining DHA, Beggs worked in senior financial leadership and compliance roles at DISH Network, Pattern Energy Group and most recently as Director of Internal Audit at PointsBet.
Beggs is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Project Management Professional (PMP). He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Denver. Beggs is also an active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
