Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Administrator

The Housing Authority of the City and County of Denver (DHA) is seeking a highly motivated self-starter to manage our DEI program.

Beginning salary range:
$85,684.02/year to $107,105.04/year

The Position
Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (“DEI”) Administrator will guide and support the Housing Authority of the City and County Denver’s (“DHA”) leadership by implementing and sustaining a diverse, inclusive, and equitable culture. The DEI Administrator is responsible for developing and executing key directives outlined in the DHA DEI Blueprint aimed at promoting DHA’s DEI commitments. Additional responsibilities include the development and delivery of Human Resource and leadership training programs.

Minimum Qualifications at the Time of Application

*Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Services, Social Work, or closely related field
*DEI or Training and Development Certifications preferred.
*Valid Colorado driver license and good driving record must be maintained in accordance with personnel policy.
*Three (3) years’ experience in training, education or specialized research in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
*Minimum four (4) years’ professional experience; preferred experience in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Leadership Development, and/or Talent Management.
*Experience in training, education or research in organizational development.
*Experience in implementing curriculum and professional development.
*Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to engage employees, residents and the community.
*Demonstrated experience in creating and delivering cultural change with a thorough understanding of talent acquisition, management, development and retention strategies while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
*A combination of appropriate education and experience

* Sick leave is accrued at 6 hours per month.
* Vacation leave for new employees is accrued at 8 hours per month.
