With extensive experience in housing finance, legal transactions, and community service, Mr. Knight will bring invaluable insight and leadership to the Authority’s mission of advancing affordable and sustainable housing solutions for the community.
A seasoned attorney and former board member and General Counsel at the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA), Mr. Knight’s career spans decades of work in both the public and private sectors. His leadership at CHFA, where he played a crucial role in shaping housing policy and financial strategies, will provide the Board with critical legal and financial guidance.
In addition to his professional work, Mr. Knight has a longstanding commitment to community service. He spent years serving on Downtown Denver Partnership boards, where he helped advocate for inclusive and sustainable urban development and currently services on the Board of Directors of Urban Peak where he played an important role in the development and financing of their new Mothership campus. He also played a key role in the formation of the Middle Income Housing Authority under SB 22-232, demonstrating his dedication to addressing housing challenges across income levels.
